You know the drill. Copy (do not forward) and change the answers to your answers. Everyone has time for a few moments of fun! 1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Hot Chocolate 2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? He used to not wrap the big stuff, but now "santa" wraps every damn thing she can get her hands on. 3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? We usually had both on the tree. I had blue ones in my room, i kinda miss them. Very easy to sleep in my old room, blue christmas lights circling the room, music always playing... 4. Do you hang mistletoe? wish we did, then maybe i'd get a little more action. 5. When do you put your decorations up? Now we don't put up crap, but we'd always try to put up the tree around the first part of december, although my asshole father would want to put it up xmas eve, and down the day after. 6.What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? Turkey, I'm a carnivore. 7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child? I really don't have one. Our xmas was always so planned and sterile it really never seemed "fun" in the way it was on TV and in books. No magic. 8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? Pretty early on. I'm sure it was scott who ruined it for me, but we kept up the lie for my sister. 9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? We used to go to my aunt's and uncle's house here in waco on xmas eve, when they'd do their gift-giving, and my mom would bring each kid one gift (usually a toy) so we didn't feel as bad watching my cousins open all their stuff while we got to amuse ourselves with a new ninja turtle. 10. What kind of cookies does Santa get set out for him? Usually it was chocolate chip 11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? love it, even though it is rare 12. Can you ice skate? never have tried 13. Do you remember your favorite gift? I remember getting a new bike just about every year cause mine kept getting stolen. 14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? day off of work 15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Fudge 16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? day off of work 17. What tops your tree? We always had a star or an angel 18. Which do you prefer - Gift-Giving or Receiving? both, but I can rarely afford to give what i really want to give. 19. What is your favorite Christmas Carol? i've grown to hate them all. I guess HEB has their dial tuned to "A very merry new millinium xmas" cause i've heard this techno remix of dance of the sugar plum fairy more times than i care to. 20. Candy Canes! Yuck or Yum? Good in hot chocolate. | | Tuesday, November 8th, 2005 | | 12:01 am |
Gay Marriage the issue, huh? Tell you what. I get a 3-way with some hot lesbians (who occasionally like a cock) or hell, at least get to watch at least 4 women get it on at the same time, then I'll go vote your way. Just kidding folks. Go vote NO on prop. 2. Current Mood: naughty | | Wednesday, November 2nd, 2005 | | 8:17 pm |
Galveston kicked ass. And I'm very metal, as always. I took a couple of pics of me in corpse paint after everyone left (so it's only my face, not me in the whole get-up with the leather and spikes and everything), cause i forgot to get someone to do the pics when they were there, and kelli had already gone to bed. I'll get those up when I get those developed. | | Sunday, October 2nd, 2005 | | 10:10 pm |

Just got the new Opeth "Ghost Reveries." Good stuff, not disappointed in their move to Roadrunner Records. The addition of a permanent keyboardist really adds a creepier element to the band. Synth parts with the melodic guitars, heavy, growling B3 with the death metal parts. And I've only heard like 3 songs. I'll give a more in depth review later. | | Friday, July 15th, 2005 | | 8:26 pm |

I really didn't like growing up in cameron, and the entire time I was there I thought I would spend the rest of my life in a big city. Well, at least one that I didn't have to drive 45 minutes into another county just to buy a cd. But the more and more I think about it, the more I think that's not the case. What I'd really like to do, if I ever had the money, would just be to buy a shitload of land out in the middle of no where. Lots of trees, hills, things like that. One of the things I loved the most about living in Village Green was the view. Our apartment faced the woods as opposed to the parking lot, and we had not one but two balconies that overlooked the woods. I found myself spending more and more time out there, especially once me and Alexis broke up, during that "infamous summer." I'd just go out there and wander around. Granted it was only a few acres, but I really liked it out there. Very relaxing, serene. I really liked the few times I've been out to Cameron Park and just wandered around in the wooded part (not the ghetto part). And I really wish we lived closer to Mother Neff. That place is beautiful, and you can feel the energy around there. It's odd to think that "heavy metal Evan" doesn't wanna spend his days and nights in a club rocking out, but rather, if I had a house in the country, I'd like to have a little log cabin about a half a mile away on the property, with electricity and running water, to just have "me" time out there. Maybe have a little studio in there, just to really catch all the vibes. | | Thursday, May 19th, 2005 | | 10:39 pm |

 | You scored as Satanism. Your beliefs most closely resemble those of Satanism! Before you scream, do a bit of research on it. To be a Satanist, you don't actually have to believe in Satan. Satanism generally focuses upon the spiritual advancement of the self, rather than upon submission to a deity or a set of moral codes. Do some research if you immediately think of the satanic cult stereotype. Your beliefs may also resemble those of earth-based religions such as paganism.

I miss hanging out with all of my friends. I mean, ALL of my friends. Maybe for my birthday, I should get them all together and hang out with everyone. In a perfect world everyone would get along and things would be cool. And everyone would have time to do it. I miss being around some people. Evan's 20 fun facts
I am a perfectionist to an extent. I'm either the best at what I do or I choose not to do it at all. Very little mediocrity in my life. I greatly enjoy good books, altough I very rarely enjoy reading, and hardly ever do it. Black is my favorite color. Always has been, always will be. Even before I was "metal." When I was a kid my family would call me little johnny cash, cause I was the kid in black. I have a very long fuse on my temper. It really takes a lot get on my nerves, unless it involves harm to a friend/loved one. I'm not the loner that I once was growing up, although occasionally I will see bits and pieces of it creeping up. I actually enjoy my job. I enjoy helping people who help me and help themselves. Even though I let people in (some more than others), I still feel that no one truly understands me, and I don't know how I feel about that. I'm greatly intregued by space and the paranormal. I was born a very sick infant. I feel that at some point when I was a baby, I died but was brought back. It wasn't my time to go. I feel there is some grand purpose in my life to fulfill, but I'm not sure what that is yet. I'm a music nerd. I can tell you interesting as well as boring facts about bands both popular and obscure. Alice in Chains and Soundgarden are two of my favorite bands, although I hardly ever listen to them. My sense of direction sucks. I only know how to get to specific place from another specific place, and the fact that roads intersect boggles my mind. I detest political conversations. More often than not, I can tell a band by drum sounds and guitar tones rather than the singers voice. My brother is my role model. He's the one who got me into music, into actually playing an instrument, he's the greatest male figure that's been a staple in my life. I am one of the most open-minded, laid back people I know. I didn't get drunk off of beer alone until I had my first keg party as a freshman in college. I don't like spending money on myself. I often wonder about how the average person's mind works. For example, if I'm sick, I wonder how sick the average person has to be before they go to the doctor. Is my definition of normal aches and pains the same as everyone elses? I've used the same kind of deoderant for as long as I can remember. I had a bunch of good ones, until LJ ate my update. I retyped in what I remembered and b.s.ed my way through the rest. Which sucks cause they were really good. Current Mood: contemplative | | Tuesday, January 4th, 2005 | | 1:26 am |
